"To wish Robert and Jason good-luck in round one of the tournament." Nick replied.

 Jason bowed to Nick as Robert walked towards Susan with Mark. Mark was wearing a guard uniform of silver pants and a yellow shirt.

"Thank-you brother Nicholas. Same to you and Brother Robert." Jason said.

"Mark pray ye escort Lady Susan to the king and queen. Aye, same to you both." Robert replied.

"Remember boys, this tournament is for my hand in marriage. Robert should be knocked out in the third round and Nick should be out in the finals. Good luck." Susan said as she hugged her brother, Robert and then Jason.

"You may be fighting me in the tournament. Look for a knight in pink." she whispered to him before kissing his cheek.

Susan then followed Mark to her parents. Jason followed Nick and Robert to the battle arena to see a few more competitors and the rest of their village in the stands. The king, queen and Lady Jizel sat in the box with Mark and Lady Susan.

The first round had begun and Jason was fighting Brother Jacob. Nick was matched against Rose Shadesmith and Robert was fighting Otto. Lady Susan watched as Jason beat back Jacob and put him on his knees. As the first round ended Susan went to the bathroom and changed into her pink knight outfit. As she returned to her seat she saw Nick fighting Robert and winning.

As Robert fell and Otto defeated Rose, Susan placed her helm on and walked backwards to her father.

"Who has been defeated?" she asked.

"Robert, Jacob, Rose and Kristina have been eliminated." the king replied.

"You, Nick, Otto and Jason are the finalists. Good luck sis." Jizel said.

"The final round will be a double-elimination. The winning man will get to marry Lady Susan. Now begin! Jason and Sharon verse Nick and Otto. Good luck!" the king said to the crowd and competitors.

 As Otto and Nick advance on Jason, Susan jumps off the balcony ledge in front of her mother and she lands on Nick.

"Oof!" he exclaimed as he fell to the ground.

"Bring it on dear brother.," Susan replied.

"Wait....Sharon is Sus--!" Nick began to yell but was cut off as Susan slammed him on his left hand.

"Jason! You take Otto! I'll handle my brother!" she yelled.

"As ye wish my love. En Guard!" Jason replied.

Nick threw Susan off of him and stood-up. Susan rolled and stood-up as well. Nick slashed from left to right as Susan did the opposite and they clashed their swords. Jason was down on one knee as Otto began to slash at his right arm. Susan quickly leaped in front of Jason and blocked the attack before spinning and counter-attacking Otto's right leg. As Otto fell onto his knee Susan lost her left arm.

"Nick is out! Think we can finish him off together?" she asked as she slashed at Otto's right arm.

Jason poked at Otto's left arm and Susan slashed at his left leg. Otto leaned back and blocked the attack to his arm, but the attack on his leg was unavoidable.

"Aaaagh!" Otto yelled. 

"You're finished!" Jason replied as he gave Otto the final blow.

 "Nice job Brother Otto. Keep up the good work. I am sure we will meet again soon for our own spar." Susan said.
